Partnership between emlyon and LIS: Anaïs Berger’s Journey
As part of the partnership between emlyon business school and the London Interdisciplinary School (LIS), Anaïs Berger, a second-year Global BBA student, had the opportunity to embark on a unique academic experience in London. This exchange program, launched in May 2024, allows our students to explore innovative interdisciplinary approaches and work on real-world issues.
An Interdisciplinary Immersion in the Heart of London
Anaïs Berger, one of the first participants, shares her enriching experience. Over two months, she worked on an interdisciplinary research project focusing on food deserts in East London. Alongside her peers and in partnership with the agency SHIFT, she examined this complex phenomenon, proposing solutions such as partnerships with start-ups specializing in vertical farming.
Beyond the research outcomes, Anaïs discovered methods like the Double Diamond, which profoundly transformed her way of thinking and approaching challenges. "This experience showed me the importance of open-mindedness and interdisciplinary collaboration. I’m convinced that these skills will be essential in my career."
