Campus Gerland: A campus in the heart of the city from 2024

Born more than 150 years ago in the heart of the city of Lyon, emlyon business school marks its return to the City by moving in September 2024 to 144 avenue Jean Jaurès, in the 7th arrondissement, after 50 years spent in Écully.

It has thus been designed as an open space for meeting, learning, and living for all those concerned with the enlightened transformation of themselves and the world, towards greater justice, solidarity, and sustainability.

This flagship campus is the showcase of the School and represents its educational and scientific ambition: academic excellence, hybridization of knowledge, connection with ecosystems & the world, social and environmental responsibility. Here, the School's pedagogy, combining reflection and action, comes to life: it is a place where we learn to do and do to learn.

Since the Renaissance, the banks of the two rivers, the Rhône and the Saône, that flow through the city, the Fourvière basilica that dominates the city centre, and the Old Lyon, are sights that make Lyon an extremely pleasant place to live in.
