emlyon business school ranked in the top 30 in a global survey of graduates best prepared for the workplace

emlyon business school has maintained its very successful performance, with a ranking of 27th (2016 ranking, 26th) in a global ranking of the employability of graduates from universities and grandes écoles available on the Times Higher Education website. The school is ranked third in France, after Ecole Polytechnique and HEC Paris.

Prepared by human resources consultancy Emerging, this ranking focuses exclusively on recruiters’ opinions of institutions by surveying 2,500 employers in 22 countries around the world and a second panel of 3,500 international managers. Although the United States and the United Kingdom easily monopolise the top of the list, with eight of their institutions making it into the top ten, 12 French schools and universities are ranked in the top 150.

Laurent Dupasquier, managing partner of Emerging, has produced this ranking for the last seven years. “Digital transformation is influencing recruiters’ expectations”, explains Dupasquier in Le Monde. “This probably explains why, over the last six years, we have seen a significant increase in challengers and institutions from countries that develop recent graduates’ soft skills and employability by getting closer to businesses.”
